Sales Account Executive/Senior Account Executive (Southern California, Northern California, Nevada)

  • Responsible for strategic sale of Janalent's Consulting Services (Infrastructure & Architecture, Secure Identity & Lifecycle Management, Communication & Collaboration) in the Southwest U.S. region. (CA, NV)
  • Build relationships and evolve existing customers and partner, and develop and maintain our unique brand in the marketplace.
  • Conduct sales calls and customer visits
  • Work to achieve aggressive sales quotas
  • Develop strategic sales plan and deliver to it
  • Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of services opportunities that represent 4 - 5 times annual quota
  • Develop and maintain opportunities in a weekly pipeline forecasting
  • Understand, position, and sell the full portfolio of Janalent solution offerings.
  • Build compelling business cases to support proposals and identify return on investment, successfully converting opportunities into consulting engagements
  • Driving Consulting Services opportunities end to end. From lead generation & qualification, to solution development and presentation to contract negotiations, to opportunity closing
  • During project delivery continue to own the customer relationship and be able to collaborate effectively with the Delivery team
  • Work closely with the Janalent solutions team to identify sales opportunities in accounts and engage with appropriate resources to develop the opportunity
  • Work effectively with Janalent's Channel Partners

Desired Skills

  • Should have 4+ years of experience in direct field sales.
  • Experience in the selling of Consulting Services
  • Should have background in positioning solutions related to Microsoft technology. (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Migrations, Upgrades, Architecture and Design)
  • Should have an in depth knowledge of selling strategies, development of proposals, contracts, close plans, and statements of work for professional services
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science BA in business administration, computer science, or equivalent business or technical field. (Work and / or Military experience considered in lieu of)
  • Ability to develop executive level relationships. Strong communication and negotiation skills required
  • Travel is required
